  1. 300 grams of meat mixture (beef and pork)
  2. 1 bag of silken tofu
  3. 200 ml panko
  4. 1/2 medium onion
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1/2 bouillon cube is consumed
  7. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 tsp. All pepper and nutmeg
  9. 4 tablespoons ketchup
  10. 2 tablespoons ● Worcestershire-style Japanese sauce
  11. 3 TL ● Spacing
  12. 2 tablespoons mirin
  13. 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions for making My Secret Tofu Hamburgers

  1. Place the tofu in a bowl and mix well until a paste forms. Do not drain the tofu first.
  2. Add the panko and mix well to absorb all of the liquid.
  3. Add ground beef, egg, salt, pepper, nutmeg and broth (add bacon). Knead well until you get a sticky consistency. I'm still clinging to this image.
  4. Stir in chopped onion.
  5. Cut into 4-6 pieces if large or 8-10 pieces if small. Shape each piece into an oval and make a hole in the center.
  6. Fry in a pan over high heat until golden brown. Flip when golden.
  7. When the other side starts to brown as well, pour in ½ cup of water (not included in the ingredients), cover and allow to steam on medium-high.
  8. When the pan liquid has evaporated and the juice runs clear when you pierce with a skewer, transfer the burgers to a plate. If the juice isn't clear, it's still undercooked, so cook it a little longer in that case.
  9. Gently clean the pan and add the sauce ingredients. Mix a little and cook over low heat. When it starts to boil, add butter and mix. Make sure that the remaining juices soak into the sauce.
  10. Pour the sauce over the burgers and you're done.
  11. Mini burgers are perfect for use in bentos (packed lunches). It stays soft and fluffy even in the fridge. I always make lots of these and keep them in the fridge.
  12. It's a contrast, daikon and ponzu discs. I saw a lot of crumbly, chalky licks at first glance, but it's still pretty good. It was delicious!
