- 1 egg
- 8 tablespoons baking flour
- 5 tablespoons of water
- 1 hot dog
- Soup with fried onions
- 150 ml water
- 2 teaspoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons mirin
- 1 tablespoon
- 3 tablespoons Mentsuyu (3x concentration)
- 2 teaspoons of your favorite barbecue sauce (or Worcestershire sauce)
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 katakuriko dough
Steps to cook cabbage menchi katsu (with fried onion sauce).
- [Onion Soup] Combine all ingredients except katakuriko in a saucepan. After getting the sweet sprout, add Katakuriko porridge to make it thick.
- (Simple 2-Step Pasta) Crack an egg into a bowl and open. Add cake flour and water and mix well.
- Finely chop the cabbage, season with salt and set aside. Finely chop the red onion. Add panko and milk and let dissolve.
- In a bowl, combine meat, egg, cabbage (squeezed), 3 red onions, 3 pankos, salt and pepper and mix well with your hands.
- Divide the meat mixture from step 4 into 1 cm and 6 cm thick meatballs and place in a small saucepan.
- Add step 5 from step 2 to the dough (if you pick it up with chopsticks, it can fall apart so leave enough so it doesn't break when you pick it up).
- In a bowl, coat both sides of the meat from step 6 with the panko.
- Heat the oil and step 7. Transfer to a plate and garnish with the onion from step 1.
